My poor Sweet V has tonsillitis. For some reason it didn't occur to me that this was contagious. So she'll have to stay home from school for a few days to get better. An hour visit to the clinic and ten days of amoxacilin. She'll be totally over the meds routine by day three.

Hope she's feeling better soon. Thank goodness it wasn't anything more serious. I think our little preschool is a germ-fest. Trevor's nose is constantly running these days. Allergies or school? Who knows?
Oh no! Poor little chick. And taking medicine is No Fun. Also, tonsillitis HURTS!!! :-( Let's hope she doesn't share it around the family!!!!
PS: You asked about the weather here. Its pretty variable at the moment. It was overcast at the weekend but between 19C and 20C during the day (can't do the Farenheit conversion..there must be a website that does it for us!)Today was a sensational 24C and clear, blue skies. Just right for Spring Cleaning. I've just realised, with Autumn you're moving into colds and flu (and tonsillitis)territory aren't you?
Sorry to hear she is sick! I hope she feels better soon. Most of the meds they give kids these days are in a flavored suspension, and I know my kids never mind taking them since it is sweet!
The tonsillitis is hurting her. She's doing ok, though. Still playing but is reminded of the pain I'm guessing when the Tylenol wears off. And she takes the Tylenol fine but for some reason loathes the amox. I think I used to like it.
Thanks for the nice words!
Aw, poor little gal! It's so hard to see our kids hurting.
Love the frame on that picture!
Oh poor girl, hope she is feeling better now
