Last Friday, we went to dinner with the Grands. We're lucky that they don't live far. The Hip Chicks get to see them often. We ate Thai food and then went to the cake shop for cupcakes.
I could never get enough of seeing the girls laugh together. We were singing Laurie Berkner and shakin' our shakey eggs.
Natalya: "Mommy, why are you taking a picture of the cupcakes!?"
Me: "Because they look so pretty."
Natalya: "But I bet they taste even better than they look. Can we eat them now?"

The top photo is My Best Shot Monday. Laurie Berkner gets us up and dancing everytime. If you don't know who she is, well, where have you been?

I like the light coming in between them yet you managed to keep their faces visible. I have yet to master that one. Looks super!
Love the light in your BSM! And of course their happy smiles.
Natalya's too funny with her cupcake comment!
They're all best shots. The fun on their faces is quite evident. :) Great work.
I really like that b/w of your girls. Great light, great capture, so fun!
btw- we(hubby and two girls) live in Houston, and we were just in Boerne/San Antonio a little while ago. River Walk and caverns! Had a blast.
these are so good Melody! nothing is better than cupcakes! The first one has a cool vintage feel to it. Gosh, V looks like brook shields when she was young. And grandpa looks so sweet. i'm jealous! wish we had our family here.
All of your shots are GREAT!! I love tha first one especially -- the BW conversion is super, and your girls are beautiful! I'm in Houston, too, so a fellow Texas momma.
Awesome pictures...they really tell your story.
Beautiful girls and beautiful shots.
What a nice shot! I love the light coming in the window and the sunspots. (don't know if that's a technical term??). The girls look beautiful.
We love Laurie, too!
that lighting is magical!
