The Soundtrack of Your Life

Just visited Maile's blog and she's reminiscing. Whitesnake apparently has brought back some memories. She's asked what songs bring back memories for you? For me, one song is Open Arms by Journey, 5th grade. Gosh it seems like such a long time ago. Join the fun and find out why I chose Open Arms.

Too funny that we both picked "Open Arms"..."broken arms ' for me. I was a military brat too and loved Friday nights at the teen center! My teen center friends from Germany are actually having a 7/8th grade reunion in 2008...can you believe that?

Funny, funny, funny. I remember the "you're fine" lingo. Everyone wanted to be told that they were "fine." And, "going together." I remember when my mom told my dad that a boy asked me to "go with him," and my dad asked, "Go where?" :)

I grew up listening to country music, but I don't think I would even know what song to choose! I'm not sure which song that is, but I'm sure if I listened to it the memories would come back. :)

Oooh - mine is "Soul Provider" by Michael Bolton - when I bought my white Firebird with the T-tops, I went straight to the music store and that's the CD I bought. I got into my new car, put the CD in and cranked it up as loud as it would go. It was a good time in my life and I still love that song. Thanks for taking me back - have a good weekend. See ya.

This is so funny...I remember Wham! Careless Whisper from 8th Grade I guess. The guy I had a crush on for like 3 years (Eddie Phillips) asked me to dance to this song and I just about died! He then strung me along for about a week before deciding to "go with" some other girl...OK, I still remember her name to Pam Bong! Memories....hmmmm.
